Katie Anne Noonan (born 2 May 1977 in Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian singer, songwriter, keyboardist and pianist whose career spans jazz, pop, rock and dance. After studying opera and jazz at the Queensland Conservatorium, she co‑founded the pop‑rock band George with her brother Tyrone Noonan in 1996; the group’s debut album Polyserena (2002) reached Number 1 on the ARIA albums chart and earned the 2002 ARIA Breakthrough Artist award. In 1997 she founded the jazz trio Elixir, whose album First Seed Ripening (2011) won the 2011 ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album. Katie Noonan’s solo path includes Skin (2007), which debuted at number 6 on the ARIA Top 50 and spawned the single "Time to Begin", and Second Skin (2008), a dance remix of that work. She collaborated with Paul Grabowsky on Before Time Could Change Us (2005), an ARIA‑winning jazz album, and with Karin Schaupp on Songs of the Southern Skies (2012) and Songs of the Latin Skies (2017). Other notable releases are Emperor's Box (2010), With Love and Fury (2016) with the Brodsky Quartet, Gratitude and Grief (2018), and The Glad Tomorrow (2019). In 2026 she released the album Alone But All One. Katie Noonan has won four ARIA awards and served as musical director for the 2018 Commonwealth Games ceremonies.
