Celvin Rotane, born Mike van der Viven in Germany, is a German disc jockey and producer known for his contributions to electronic and house music. His breakthrough came in the summer of 1995 with the release of "I Believe", a single produced in collaboration with Ramon Zenker. The track, featuring its distinctive "Uuh!" sample, became a significant club hit and charted in several countries. Following this success, he released "Push Me To The Limit" featuring American singer Francine "Frankie" McCoy, which further solidified his presence in the music scene. Despite the lack of chart success for his subsequent single "You’ve Got To Be You", he made a comeback in 1997 with the double-A-side release "Back Again / Theme From Magnum". The latter track was a reinterpretation of the title music from the television series Magnum, while "Back Again" showcased influences from the popular pizzicato trance genre. Throughout his career, Celvin Rotane has been active internationally as a DJ and has released several notable singles, including "Bienvenue", "Houze Muzique", and "B2W - Backs II The Wall" in collaboration with Dweed.
