Shameik Alti Moore, born May 4, 1995, in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American actor and musician whose family is originally from Jamaica. He attended Druid Hills High School and debuted musically with the mixtape I Am the Beat in 2012 before releasing his studio album 30058 on July 15, 2015, through We Music Group. His acting roles include Malcolm in the film Dope (2015)—for which IndieWire named him one of the breakouts of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival—and voicing Miles Morales in the animated films Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023).
