Absoluuttinen Nollapiste, a progressive rock band from Rovaniemi, Finland, was formed in 1991 by Jukka Leionen and Aki Lääkkölä and initially consisted of Tommi Liimatta, Tomi Krutsin, and Matti Kettunen. The band was known for combining catchy melodies with slightly progressive songwriting and Liimatta's eccentric lyrics. Their first release was the demo Demo I in 1992. The band's lineup stabilized with Aake Otsala replacing Kettunen on bass guitar. Absoluuttinen Nollapiste released their debut album Neulainen Jerkunen in 1994, followed by several other albums including Muovi antaa periksi (1995), Simpukka-amppeli (1998), and Suljettu (1999). They have released numerous albums under their own label, Diu Dau Tapes, including Pisara Ja Lammas 1 (2012) and Pisara Ja Lammas 2 (2014).
