Elias Howard Lieb, born in Fairfield, Iowa, in 1979, is an independent American pop singer-songwriter. Known professionally as Eli Lieb, he moved to New York City at twenty years of age to pursue a music career, attending classes at The New School and Pepperdine University before his father's death prompted him to return to Fairfield. Lieb began uploading covers to YouTube in 2009, leading to the independent release of his self-titled debut studio album, Eli Lieb, in 2011. He followed with the single "Young Love" in 2013. In 2014, Lieb released the charity single "Safe in My Hands" for an Allstate campaign, which won Best Original Song and Best in Show at the 2015 American Music Producers Awards, and issued the single "Zeppelin", which was produced by John Feldmann. He released the album The Nights We Lived in 2018. Over his career, Lieb collaborated with Jonathan Daniel, Feldmann, and Adam Lambert, and his YouTube channel accumulated nearly 58 million views by March 2023.
