Fahnenflucht, a German punk rock band, was founded in 1995 under the name "Keine Ahnung." The group's initial breakthrough came with their inclusion on the sampler Schlachtrufe BRD V by AM Music in 1998, featuring the songs "Ohne Ausweg" and "Demokratie." In 2000, they released their debut album Beissreflex, following a split EP titled Terroristensplit with Zaunpfahl. The band toured extensively throughout Germany and Switzerland, collaborating with notable acts such as Betontod and Terrorgruppe. Their subsequent albums include K.O. System (2003), Wer Wind sät… (2006), Schwarzmaler (2011), and Angst und Empathie (2016). Fahnenflucht's music is characterized by its political themes and antifascist stance, with recent albums addressing topics like terrorism and the refugee crisis. The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years but continues to tour and release new material, including their 2024 album Molotov Zitrone.
