Die Angefahrenen Schulkinder

Die angefahrenen Schulkinder, a German comedy group from Osnabrück, was formed in 1982. The band gained early traction through live shows and tours, establishing themselves within student and alternative scenes. Their first album Heaven Sings X-Mas was released in 1987, followed by Osnabrück in 1992. Notable singles include "Tötet Onkel Dittmeyer" (1991) and "Liebe ist möglich" (1994). The group also produced musicals such as Die Prinzessin Mit Dem Glied (album released in 2003) and Guggurutz und Kokain (2010), as well as collaborations with artists like Jo Granada and Dr. Ignatz Ignaz. Die angefahrenen Schulkinder have also been involved in various controversies, including a legal battle over the song "I Wanna Make Love to Steffi Graf" which resulted in a ban on its distribution, and over their "Kill Uncle Dittmeyer" single. The band also won awards such as first place at the NDR Hörfest in Kiel in 1987 and the Theatre Oscar for Shakespeare's Twelfth Night in 2004.
