Ni Ju San, a German punk band from Wermelskirchen, was formed in 1997 under the name Barbed Wire. The group initially gained traction with their live performances and released their first album, ...und morgen die ganze Welt!, in 2003. In 2004, they released their second album, Alles Lüge, which featured a backward message in the intro track. The band signed with Nix-Gut Records in 2005 and released several notable albums including Elevator Music (2005) and Bis einer weint (2005). In 2012, they released their final album under that label, Dystopia, before taking an eight-year hiatus. Ni Ju San returned in March 2020 with the single "Gloria" under Alster Records, which also re-released their previous albums digitally. Known for their multi-vocal harmonies and politically charged lyrics, Ni Ju San's discography includes themes of love, politics, and everyday life.
