Tagtraum, a German pop-punk band from Schweinfurt, was formed in December 1992. Their debut album Trotz & Träume was released in 1997, followed by Feuer Gratis in 1998. The band's music evolved from punk influences to a more melodic and melancholic style, often compared to bands like Muff Potter, At the Drive-In, and Alkaline Trio. Notable albums include Seelenpuzzle (1999), Augen Auf Und Durch (2001), Komm Lass Es Echt Sein (2003), and their final studio album Wir Gehen Um Zu Bleiben (2006). Tagtraum disbanded in 2006, with their last performance on May 20 at the Stattbahnhof in Schweinfurt. The band briefly reunited for a one-off concert on March 17, 2017, as part of Matze Rossi’s birthday gala but clarified it was not a full reunion.
