Simona Molinari, born on February 23, 1983, in Naples, Italy, is an Italian jazz and swing singer. She began singing at a young age and specialized in pop and jazz music. She studied at the Conservatory of L’Aquila and gained musical experience in Naples and Rome. Her breakthrough came in 2008 when she won SanremoLab with Arisa, qualifying her for the Newcomer category of the Sanremo Festival 2009. There, she reached fifth place with "Egocentrica" and released her debut album Egocentrica. In 2010, she collaborated with Ornella Vanoni on the duet "Amore a prima vista", which topped the Italian single charts. Her subsequent albums include Croce e delizia (2010), Tua (2011) featuring Peter Cincotti, and Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde (2013). In 2015, she released the cover album Casa Mia, followed by Petali (2022) and Hasta siempre Mercedes (2024).
