Besatt, a Polish black metal band, was founded in 1991 by bassist Beldaroh and guitarist Weronis. The group's initial lineup solidified in 1994 with the addition of singer and drummer Fulmineus. Besatt released their first demo, Czarci Majestat, in 1996, followed by their debut album, In Nomine Satanas, in 1997. Weronis left the band due to ideological differences, and guitarist Creon joined shortly before the release of their second album, Hail Lucifer (1999). In 2002, Besatt released Hellstorm and saw further lineup changes with Fulmineus and Creon departing. The band continued with new members Agonus and Sukkor Benot, releasing the EP Korzenie zła in 2002. Subsequent albums include Sacrifice for Satan (2004), Black Mass (2006), and Triumph of Antichrist (2007). Besatt's discography also featured several split releases and collaborations. Later works include Demonicon in 2010 and Impia Symphonia in 2015.
