Lividity is an American death metal and grindcore band from Champaign, Illinois, founded in 1993 by Dave Kibler as an initial one-man project. The band's first demo was released in 1994, marking the beginning of their professional career with the addition of other musicians. They released their debut EP Rejoice in Morbidity in 1996, followed by their second EP Fetish for the Sick (1997) under Ablated Records. In 2000, Lividity signed with United Guttural Records and released their debut studio album The Age of Clitoral Decay (2000). Other notable albums included ... 'Til Only the Sick Remain (2002) and Used, Abused, and Left for Dead (2006). In 2004, Lividity embarked on a European headlining tour with Master as the opening act. The band signed a contract with Morbid Records in 2002 and later released albums such as Perverseverance (2018).
