Jeff Paris, born Geoffrey Brillhart Leib in the United States, is an American vocalist, keyboardist, and guitarist who primarily performs in the hard rock and heavy metal genres. He began his career in the 1970s as a session musician under his birth name, performing on albums by Jay Gruska and on Bill Withers's albums Naked & Warm (1976) and 'Bout Love (1979), before forming the jazz, soul, and disco quartet Pieces, which released an album in 1979. He also performed with the disco group L.A.X., which released two albums in 1979 and 1980, and contributed to sessions for Jeffrey Osborne and Leon Ware. In 1984, Paris adopted his stage name and transitioned to hard rock, co-writing songs such as "Gotta Let Go" (1984) for Lita Ford and "Lipstick & Leather" (1984) for Y&T. He performed keyboards on Cinderella's debut album, Night Songs (1986), and signed with PolyGram, releasing the solo albums Race to Paradise (1986) and Wired Up (1987). His subsequent solo albums include Lucky This Time (1993), Smack (1997), Freak Flag (1998), and Broken Chain (2011). As a songwriter and session player, Paris also collaborated with Vixen—who covered his songs "Cryin'", "Charmed Life", "One Night Alone", and "Give It Away"—as well as Alias, for whom he co-wrote the hit single "Waiting for Love". He also wrote "Road to Ruin" for Mr. Big and "Let It Out" for Y&T.
