Lidell Williams, known as Dazzie Dee, is an American rapper and record producer born in 1970. Williams began a music career at age 14 and met Dr. Dre and Sir Jinx. Their first EP, Turn It Loose (1988), was followed by the self-titled album Dazzie Dee (1989). Williams was an original member of the label Lench Mob Records. Their solo recordings include the album Where's My Receipt (1995) and the reissued album The Re-Birth (1996). Williams released the singles “Everybody Wants to Be a Gangsta” (1995) and “Knee Deep” (1996). Williams has collaborated with artists including Suga Free, DJ Quik, Ice Cube, and Coolio. Subsequent recordings include the albums The 7th Letter (2012), Loc’stradamus (2014), and BAKING SODA (2022). Their discography includes the albums Rewind (2023) and Westcoast BoomSlap (2023).
