BOXY is shaping a distinctive space at the intersection of neo-soul, hip hop, and contemporary pop. With a voice that feels intimate, sensual, and timeless, she creates music that resonates deeply built on nuance, vulnerability, and emotional intelligence rather than noise.
Writing her first song at just eight years old, BOXY’s artistic instinct surfaced early. After stepping away from music for several years, she returned with intention and fully immersed herself in every aspect of the creative process from songwriting and vocal production to visual direction and brand identity. That commitment led her to join forces with her brother Auguste Boxy and create their own independent collective and platform, SSQ (South-Side Quarry), through which she and other artists connected to SSQ professionally release and curate their work. Twi$$ is also part of the SSQ team, and BOXY has multiple collaborations with the Vincentian artist.
In a remarkably short timeframe (2024–2025), BOXY has built meaningful international momentum. She has collaborated with artists such as BigKlit and Yung Tori while working alongside globally recognized producers including Drumkid (Global), Chuki Beats (Belgium), Anno Domini (USA), Eeryskies (USA), with an additional high-profile collaboration set to be announced soon. Her primary engineers are multi-platinum and multi-Grammy-winning engineer Vinny DeLeon and multi-platinum engineer W2IM, further elevating the sonic quality of her releases.
Her debut single “Wageyo” gained international radio traction and was featured on Sway's Universe as a Soundwave Pick of the Week alongside artists such as Wiz Khalifa and Armani White. Since then, her music has been picked up by radio stations worldwide, accompanied by a growing number of live interviews. A phrase frequently echoed by programmers: “BOXY is the artist you want to discover before the rest of the world does.”
On stage, BOXY delivers with both sensitivity and presence. Within her first active year, she performed at notable events and venues including Toile Blanche Sessions (France) where she opened for Mumiy Troll (Russia) as well as Green Boley (St. Vincent And The Grenadines), Block Party XL, and Gentse Feesten (Belgium). These performances reflect her versatility across intimate showcases and large-scale festival environments.
Beyond music, BOXY’s artistic vision extends into film and visual storytelling. She has prior television experience in Belgium through appearances featuring her father, Stefan Boxy. Her visual project “Duality” was created in collaboration with internationally recognized editor/director Michael Tombeur and cinematographer Roger Eaton, further reinforcing the depth and cinematic quality of her artistic universe. All official releases and visuals are distributed via the SSQ (South-Side Quarry) YouTube channel.
At her core, BOXY’s artistry is rooted in sentiment exploring identity, desire, introspection, and feminine strength. She balances softness with resilience and vintage warmth with a modern edge. Her sound is fluid yet intentional, soulful yet contemporary crafted with both emotional authenticity and professional precision.
Focused on sustainable growth rather than fleeting trends, BOXY represents a compelling opportunity for bookers, labels, and creative partners seeking an artist with international potential, a clear artistic identity, and a fully realized creative vision.
