Eden Rose, originally known as Les Gardians, was a French rock group formed in 1969 by Henri Garella, Christian Clairefond, and Henry Castello. Before changing their name to Eden Rose, they opened for Claude François' tours and released four singles. In 1970, they recorded On the Way to Eden, which featured blues rock with progressive influences. The album was released on the Katema label but disputes led to the band not participating in its mixing. After touring France and Algeria, Eden Rose disbanded. Henry Castello joined Jacques Dutronc's tour, while the remaining members formed Sandrose. In 2003, Musea reissued On the Way to Eden and in 2006, Sausage Records released two singles from the album: "Faster and Faster" and "Feeling in the Living".
