Daniel Ruczko, born July 3, 1981, in Bremen, Germany, is a director, screenwriter, music producer, DJ, film producer, composer, and 3D artist. He began producing music on an Amiga 500 computer at age 12 and later released records under the pseudonym Rusher, touring Europe as a DJ. In 2010, he trained as a film composer in Hamburg. That year, his short-film concept Bipolar – A Narration of Manic Depression won an award. Ruczko has received more than 60 awards for his films, three of which screened at Cannes’ Short Film Corner. Based in Los Angeles, he published the art book I Saw You in a Dream Last Night in 2022 and his debut novel, Pieces of a Broken Mind, in 2023. His discography includes Ordinary Madness (2020) with Kayohes and V3RB and Melancholia (2020) with Kayohes.
