!T.O.O.H.!, also known as Tooh, is a Czech progressive death metal band formed in 1990 by brothers Jan and Josef Veselý under the name Devastator. The group initially focused on gore-themed lyrics before shifting to themes of politics and social inequality. In 1993, they changed their name to !T.O.O.H.!, an acronym for "The Obliteration of Humanity." Their album, Řád a trest (Order And Punishment), released in December 2005, was well-received by the music press but led to financial difficulties after being dropped from Earache Records. The group reformed as a duo in September 2011, but faced challenges due to Josef Veselý's diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia. Despite this, they released Democratic Solution in 2013. !T.O.O.H.! announced their separation after their final concert on February 16, 2013, but reunited in 2017 and released the album Free Speech in 2020.
