Lightning Love is an indie pop band based in Ypsilanti, Michigan, formed in 2007 by Leah Diehl, Ben Collins, and Aaron Diehl. The trio developed an upbeat, minimalist sound, contrasted with lyrics that explore isolation and self-consciousness. They released November Birthday (2008), Girls Who Look Like Me EP (2012), and Blonde Album (2012), which Lost in Ohio later reissued in 2023. The band has also had music featured in television and film, such as "Friends" in Playing Dead (Miniseries) and "Everyone I Know" in The Virginity Hit.
