The Red Shore was an Australian deathcore band from Geelong, Victoria. The group was initially formed by Richard Johnson and Jamie Hope, later joined by Jason Leombruni on guitar and Damien Morris as vocalist. Their early output included the demo The Beloved Prosecutors (2005), followed by their debut EP Salvaging What’s Left (2006), released after signing to Big Phat Adelaide Records and Modern Music. In December 2007, while on tour, the band was involved in a fatal bus crash that claimed the lives of vocalist Damien Morris and road crew member Andy Milner. Following the accident, Jamie Hope moved from bass to vocals. The band released their debut album Unconsecrated in 2008 after a delay caused by the crash. Their final album, The Avarice Of Man, was released in 2010 through Roadrunner Records Australia. The Red Shore disbanded in 2011 but briefly reformed in 2019 for a small number of live performances.
