Absinthe Blind was an American shoegaze and dream pop group from Urbana, Illinois. Formed in 1996 by brothers Seth and Adam Fein along with Tristan Wraight, they released their debut album When Our Flashes Sway in 1997. The band's sister Erin Fein joined during the recording of Music for Security, which was released in 2000. For their fourth album, The Everyday Separation (2001), Absinthe Blind signed to Mud Records. Their final album, Rings, was released in February 2003. Adam Fein announced his departure from the band later that year, leading to a farewell tour.
