Sunstorm, un proyecto musical estadounidense de rock melódico, debutó con el vocalista Joe Lynn Turner, el bajista Dennis Ward, el teclista Jochen Weyer, el guitarrista Uwe Reitenauer y el baterista Chris Schmidt. Su primer álbum, Sunstorm, se publicó en 2006, seguido de House of Dreams en 2009 y Emotional Fire en 2012. Para el álbum de 2016, Edge Of Tomorrow, la banda presentó una nueva formación que incluía a Alessandro Del Vecchio a los teclados y en la producción. En 2018, lanzaron *The Road to Hell*. Ronnie Romero sustituyó a Joe Lynn Turner como vocalista principal en 2020. Entre los álbumes posteriores se incluyen Afterlife (2021), Brothers in Arms (2022) y Restless Fight (2024).
