Mr. Dream was an American punk rock music group formed in Brooklyn, New York, composed of Adam Moerder on vocals and guitar, Matt Morello on bass, and Nick Sylvester on drums. The group first gained attention with the 2009 EP Mr. Dream Goes to Jail, funded through a $3,000 Kickstarter campaign that supplied supporters with a vinyl copy. Their debut album, Trash Hit, was released in 2011 and opened for CSS and Sleigh Bells. In 2013, they announced The Ultimate in Luxury, which debuted the same year and was issued as an LP in 2014 after the band’s breakup. The release received favorable reviews from Stereogum, The Fader, and Fluxblog, and was distributed on cassette through Godmode Records. The band disbanded in 2014.
