Bae Suzy, was born Bae Su-ji in South Korea, she is a TV and movie actress, a TV presenter and show host, and also a singer who was a member of the girl bands Miss A and JYP Entertainment in 2009 and 2010 respectively. Best known for her TV and movie work, she released her first solo work, a digital single called 'Dream' in collaboration with Byun Baek-hyun from the boyband Exo which did extremely well, topping the South Korean Gaon chart and winning a number of awards. Her first solo release came in 2017, while she continued as a member of Miss A before the groups disbandment later that year. She joined JYP Entertainment, another girl group in 2017 while continuing to release solo material, leaving that band in 2019 to concentrate on acting.
