Retsin, an American indie rock band, was founded in 1993 by Tara Jane O'Neil and Cynthia Nelson. The duo, who had previously played with Rodan and Ruby Falls respectively, released their debut EP Salt Lick in 1995 following appearances in the film Half-Cocked. Their first full-length album, Egg Fusion, was released in 1996 under Simple Machines Records. Retsin toured extensively behind these releases, occasionally adding a rhythm section for live shows. In 1998, they signed with Carrot Top Records and released Sweet Luck Of Amaryllis. Notable collaborations include the recording The Ida Retsin Family Volume One with Ida in 1998. Their album, Cabin In The Woods, was released in 2001 along with the EP Moon Money Moon.
