12Twelve is a Spanish post-rock and free jazz band formed in 1998 in Barcelona, Spain. The group consists of the musicians Jaume L. Pantaleón, Javier García, José Roselló, and Jens Neumaier. Their debut recording was a demo produced by David Rodríguez in 1998. In 2001, they released the debut album Tears, Complaints and Spaces. The ensemble won the best band prize at the Villa de Bilbao Contest in 2003 and subsequently recorded the album Speritismo (2003) with the producer Steve Albini. Their recordings include the jazz-influenced album L'Univers (2006). The band performed at major festivals including Primavera Sound, Sónar, and Festival Internacional de Benicàssim. The ensemble became inactive in 2008 before resuming activity in 2019 for a performance at the AMFest.
