Quickspace was an English indie rock band. Formed in 1994 in London by Tom Cullinan after his previous group Th' Faith Healers disbanded, the initial lineup included Sean Newsham on bass, Wendy Harper on vocals/guitar, Max Corradi on drums, and Barry Stillwell on keyboards. Their music blended post-punk, krautrock, and space rock influences, aligning them with the post-rock genre. Their debut single "Quickspace Happy Song #1" was released in 1995 under the Kitty Kitty Corporation label. Quickspace toured with acts like Sebadoh and Stereolab. After lineup changes, they released their self-titled debut album in 1996. Subsequent notable releases included "Hadid" (1998) and "Quickspace Happy Song #2" (1998). Their final studio album, The Death of Quickspace, came out in 2000. In 2005, the band reunited briefly to release the single "Pissed Off Boy" on the Domino label before disbanding.
