Jean-Paul Vosmeer is an electronic music artist and composer with deep roots in the Amiga gamescene of the early ’90s. Between 1990 and 1996, he created a series of original soundtracks and game scores for Commodore Amiga games — music that remained unreleased and unheard for over 30 years.
Now, for the first time ever, those tracks are finally being released. More than just nostalgic throwbacks, they are sonic time capsules from a vibrant era where creativity and technology collided in the world of digital art.
The in 1995 released Volition is a synthesizer version of the original soundtracks from Venturer and Mysticdream— two platform games developed for the Commodore Amiga and Amiga CD32. The album features Lost Souls Cry, a deeply personal tribute to his late brother, who passed away far too young.
To mark the 30th anniversary, the original Amiga soundtracks will also be released — raw, authentic and full of retro character — for longtime fans and curious newcomers alike.
