Burden Brothers are an American hard rock band from Dallas, Texas, that formed in 2002. The group was established by Vaden Todd Lewis and Taz Bentley as a side project. They released three EPs in 2002 titled 8 Ball, Queen O' Spades, and Burden Brothers. After signing with Kirtland Records, they released their debut studio album, Buried in Your Black Heart, (2003). The recording featured the single “Beautiful Night” (2004), which reached Number 24 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. The band toured with acts including Velvet Revolver and Papa Roach and won eight awards at the 2005 Dallas Observer Music Awards. Their second studio album, Mercy, was released (2006). The ensemble went on hiatus in 2007 but resumed activity in 2015 to perform at the Dia De Los Toadies festival.
