Enfold Darkness, a metal music group from Nashville, Tennessee, was formed in mid-2005. The band's early years were marked by frequent lineup changes before stabilizing in 2008. Their breakthrough came when they opened for The Faceless, catching the attention of Michael Keene, who helped them secure a deal with Sumerian Records. In November 2009, Enfold Darkness released their debut album Our Cursed Rapture, produced by Jamie King. This album featured a blend of black and technical death metal, with notable tracks like "In the Galleries of the Utmost Evil" and "The Benefits of Your Demise". The band embarked on several national tours following the release, performing alongside acts such as Dying Fetus, Goatwhore, and Burning the Masses. Their second studio album Adversary Omnipotent was released in July 2017, but tragedy struck when bassist Todd Honeycutt took his own life a few months later.
