Terje Ronald Tysland, born on April 14, 1951 in Namsos, Norway, is a Norwegian singer and musician. From 1969 to 1976, he was a member of the rock group Prudence led by Åge Aleksandersen. His solo career began with the album Stakkars klovn in 1977, but it was his subsequent release, Mytji arti, that marked his breakthrough in 1978. The song "Ringdans" reached Number 1 on the Norsktoppen hit list in 1981. Notable albums include Gutta på by'n (1987), which featured the country duo "Heile livet" with Claudia Scott, and collaborations such as Fullar enn fullmånen (1993) with Clawfinger and Hurra for mæ (1995) with Oppdal Spellemannslag.
