Hanne Krogh, born January 24, 1956, in Oslo, Norway, is a Norwegian singer and actress. Krogh grew up in Lambertseter and Haugesund. She debuted at age fourteen with the single "Lukk opp min dør" (1970). The following year, Krogh won the Melodi Grand Prix final with "Lykken er" (1971), representing Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest where she finished number 17. Her solo album Hanne Krogh (1978) saw modest sales, which was followed by Nærbilde (1980) and the highly successful Christmas album Julens vakreste (1983). In 1984, she formed the duo Bobbysocks with Elisabeth Andreassen. The duo won the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 with the song "La det swinge" (1985), which reached Number 1 on the charts in eight countries. Krogh later joined the quartet Just 4 Fun and represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 with the song "Mrs. Thompson" (1991). Her live album Ta meg til havet (1992) earned a Spellemannprisen in 1993.
