Bernhard Fleischmann, born 1975 in Vienna, Austria, is an indietronic musician, composer, and producer also known under the stage name B. Fleischmann. After drum lessons at Hinterbrühl Music School (1988‑1995) and early guitar‑band gigs, he turned to electronic composition and set up his own studio. His debut album, Pop Loops for Breakfast (1999), was followed by the Sidonie EP (2000) and A Choir of Empty Beds (2000). He also released TMP (2001) and the double‑CD Welcome Tourist (2003), winning the first French Qwartz Electronic Music Award for Best Album. Later works include The Humbucking Coil (2006) and Angst is Not A Weltanschauung! (2008). He collaborated with Christof Kurzmann, Martin Siewert, and Duo505, and scored films such as L’Animale (2019) and Mit einem Tiger schlafen (2025).
