Lazuli is a French progressive rock band formed in 1998 by brothers Claude and Dominique Leonetti in the Gard. The group's style blends elements of rock, electronic, and world music, featuring an innovative custom-made instrument called the Léode. After performing across the south of France within local groups, the band released the albums Amnésie (2004) and Réponse incongrue à l'inéluctable (2009). Their breakthrough came with the 2011 release 4 603 battements, which featured the songs “Je te laisse ce monde” and “15h40”. The ensemble followed with Tant que l'herbe est grasse (2014), Nos âmes saoules (2016), and Saison 8 (2018). The group subsequently issued the concept album Le Fantastique envol de Dieter Böhm (2020), the unplugged compilation Dénudé (2021), and the album 11 (2023). The band toured extensively throughout Europe, making five appearances at the Night of the Prog festival in Germany.
