Kelvyn Bertoni Santos, professionally known as Kew, began his artistic journey in Brazil as a young model before transitioning into dance, working with funk sensation MC Daniel. His recording career started in late 2022 with the single “Problema,” marking his official debut on digital platforms. Throughout 2024, he built momentum with a string of singles that showcased his blend of rap and funk influences, beginning with “Maloka Apaixona,” “Egocêntrica,” and “Me Impressiona.” Entering 2025, Kew gained wider recognition with the collaboration “Pensando em Mim” featuring 2L Motta in January, which was quickly followed by “Descer” later that month and “Viciado Em Ver Ela Descer” featuring DJ LK da Escócia in February. In March, he released “Meu Jeito,” and by May added “Vai No Chão,” continuing his consistent run of singles that established him as one of the new voices of Brazilian urban music. POPSTAR BR, his debut EP, arrived in August 2025 and featured an interpolation of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" on opener "Deslizando," as well as a guest appearance by Dj Aguilar on "Aproveita."
