Ingrid Lukas, born August 20, 1984 in Talinn, Estonia, is a singer-songwriter, pianist, and composer. She began her musical journey at age five, learning classical piano and singing in a choir. At ten, she moved to Switzerland where she later earned master's degrees in jazz and popular singing from the Zurich University of the Arts. She also has a master's degree in music therapy from the Berlin University of the Arts. Lukas released her debut album, We Need to Repeat, in 2009 on Ronin Rhythm Records. Her subsequent albums include Silver Secrets (2011), Demimonde (2015), and Elumeloodia (2023). She has performed at notable venues such as Tallinn Music Week, Eurosonic Festival, and the Great Escape Festival. In 2015, Lukas received a cultural award in the field of jazz/rock/pop from the city of Zurich.
