Dimension 5, a Goa trance project, was founded in 1989 by Charlie Clarke, Graham Franklin, Kerry Palmer, and Nick Wenham. The group first released the single "Utopia" in 1991, followed by early hard trance tracks such as "Trance Xpress" (1995) and "UFO/Light Sensitive Data" (1995). In 1997, the trio released the album Transdimensional on Intastella Records, a work that achieved underground acclaim and was later remastered by Suntrip Records in 2007. The addition of Norwegian artist Christer Børge Lunde in 1998 led to the 2000 album Second Phaze on Blue Moon, which was reissued by Velvet Inc in 2001. Dimension 5 became inactive shortly afterwards.
