Stratis, an electronic music group founded in Cologne, Germany, in the early 1980s, was formed by Albert Klein and Antonios Stratis. The duo began their musical journey with various releases on cassette, vinyl, and CD, showcasing a diverse range of electronic genres including ambient, electro wave, minimal, oriental, and industrial sounds. Their breakthrough came with the release of Herzlos in 2004, which featured recordings from the 1980s and became a classic in the minimal-electro genre. Following a period of inactivity, Stratis released the album As Life Goes By in 2006. The group's discography includes the compilation Mokoyaro 1982–1985 (2012).
