Pierrepoint was a German music project founded in 1992 by David Kirvel and Thomas Leppkes in Krefeld. The duo released their first demo tapes, Pierrepoint and Aufruf und Warnung, before debuting with the album Slices of Death in 1993. Internal differences led to Leppkes' departure, after which Kirvel continued the project solo. The EP Eibon marked a shift towards an electro-industrial sound influenced by the Belgian band Dive. Collaborations followed with artists such as Johan van Roy and Patrick Bulheller, resulting in notable tracks like "Helpless" and "Retrace". Pierrepoint gained attention with the controversial track "Kim" (1997), which addressed child abuse and murder. The project evolved through albums like Pulsing Redlight/Reconstruct (1999) and Noizefloor (2002). The band disbanded in 2002 and Kirvel continued under the name Krzon.
