Tim Moore is an American pop singer and songwriter from New York born in 1949. Moore was a drummer for the band Woody's Truck Stop and co-founded the group Gulliver. Moore released the debut solo album Tim Moore (1974). Recognition increased with the single “Second Avenue” (1974) which reached number 58 in the United States and number 60 in Canada. Subsequent recordings include the album Behind the Eyes (1975) which featured the song “Rock and Roll Love Letter” (1975). The track was covered by the group Bay City Rollers. His discography includes the album White Shadows (1977) which featured contributions from Michael McDonald and Jeff Porcaro. Moore released the album Flash Forward (1985) which featured the single “Yes” (1986). The track reached Number 1 in Brazil and remained there for ten weeks. Moore joined the band Saga for a tour in 1988.
