Gore Slut was a Belgian lo-fi guitar band formed in 1992 in Antwerp and consisted of Rudy Trouvé, Jacki Billet, and Dirk Belmans, who initially lived together in an old brothel in Antwerp's red-light district, which they named Heavenhotel. In 1996, after Trouvé left dEUS, he reunited with his former roommates to form Gore Slut. The band released their debut album These Days are the Quiet Kind in 1997 on Stickman Records, followed by Above the Lisa Drugstore in 1998. Their final studio albums, Girl + Turtles and Stop, were released in 2001. The band also notably performed at Pukkelpop in 2001 but ceased activities in 2002.
