Israelvis

Israelvis, a Norwegian alternative rock band from Trondheim, was formed in 1988 by members of Angor Wat. Their debut album Heart to Heart Politics was released in 1989. By their second album, Half Past Heaven (1990), Bård Noodt had left, and Viggo Mastad took over as lead vocalist. The band gained attention with the EP, "We Only Live Twice", in 1992 and the subsequent album Albino Blue in 1993. Israelvis released notable albums, including Church of Israelvis (1995) and Eurosis (1996). Their final studio album to date, The Israelvis Effect, was released in 2005. In 2010, the band reunited for a concert at the Pstereo festival in Trondheim and recorded "Random City" featuring Katja Benneche Osvold on vocals.
