Zeronic was an Austrian alternative rock band active from the late 1990s until 2016. Their first two albums, High Life (2001) and its follow-up, Feel the Nothing (2003), were both nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award. In 2005, the band released “Images of Girls,” produced by Gareth Jones, known for his work with Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, and Goldfrapp. Their 2009 album, The Price of Zeitgeist, combined poetry and pop music, while its title-track video received a nomination at the New York International Independent Film Festival for Best International Music Video. In 2012, Zeronic released Grandezza, which was recorded in Italy and Vienna, and opened for New Order in Vienna. Singer Michael Tanczos pursued a solo career after the band disbanded.
