Escapado was a German hardcore punk group from Flensburg and Kiel formed in 2002. The group was formed by Helge Jensen, Jan Misdorf, Sebastian Henkelmann, and Christoph Voss. Their first recording was the demo Lass' deiner Sehnsucht freien Lauf (2002), followed by the self-titled 7-inch “Escapado” (2003). Their debut album, Hinter den Spiegeln (2005), included elements of post-hardcore and screamo. Their subsequent recordings include the album Initiale (2007) and the album Montgomery Mundtot (2010), the latter of which was recorded at Tonstudio 45, the recording studio of Blackmail. Escapado disbanded in 2011.
