David Plüss, born in October 1957, is a Swiss musician, composer, producer, and arranger. After completing his music studies in Zürich, Plüss began his career as a pianist and keyboardist, releasing albums such as Jahreszeiten (1989) and Pianissimo (1992). He collaborated with various artists including Clemens Bittlinger, Gerhard Schöne, and the Mainzer gospel choir popCHORn. Plüss also worked on significant projects like "Global Praise" and "Russian Praise" for the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. His work extended to multimedia collaborations with photographer Urs Lüthi, resulting in the project Farben unserer Erde. In 2007, he became a musical ambassador for the Christoffel Blind Mission.
