Andreas Rebers, born on January 7, 1958, in Westerbrak, Niedersachsen, is a cabaret artist, musician, author, and composer. He studied teaching at the University of Hannover. His career took a performing arts turn after making initial contacts during his studies. From 1984 to 1988, he received formal training on accordion under Thomas Aßmus and became a musical director for theatre productions, notably at the Braunschweig State Theater from 1989 to 1997. Andreas Rebers has authored cabaret programs and composed music for plays, leading to engagements across Germany and internationally. His career includes touring with prominent figures like Urban Priol and Josef Hader as well as performances in television shows such as Nuhr im Ersten and Ottis Schlachthof. He released several albums including Ich mag mich trotzdem (2000) and Lieber Vom Gachmann (2007). His accolades include the Wolfsburger Wolf in 2000 and the Prix Pantheon in 2003.
