Pump was a German hard rock band from Stuttgart established in 2002. The group was founded by former Brainstorm vocalist Marcus Jürgens alongside guitarists Aki Reissmann and Ulli Hauff, bassist Timo Michels, and drummer Achim Keller, with bassist Stephan Bürk completing the lineup. They made their recording debut with the studio album Against Everyone's Advice (2004), which was produced by Tommy Newton. They followed with the studio album Breakdown to Breakthrough (2006). Following subsequent lineup changes, they recorded their third studio album, Sonic Extasy, in 2008, which was released in 2009 through the label Fastball Music and distributed by Sony Music. To promote the release, they performed on tour supporting the bands UFO and House of Lords. In 2012, the band signed with Axel Wiesenauer of Rock N Growl Records for management. Between 2011 and 2012, they recorded 14 tracks for a planned fourth album, but Jürgens departed from the group in December 2012, and the recordings were not released. Following the recruitment of Danish vocalist Oliver Weers in 2013, the members rebranded the group under the name Miracle Master. Under this name, they released the studio album Tattoed Woman in 2014 through ZYX Records. The band disbanded in 2016, although former members reunited for a single performance under the name Pump in Steinenbronn in October 2018.
