Prime STH, known as Prime in North America, a Swedish alternative rock band, was formed in Stockholm. The quartet consisted of vocalist Noa Modén, guitarist Martin Påhlsson, bassist Jesper Eksjoo, and drummer Kasper Lindgren. They released their debut album Underneath the Surface in 2001, via Giant/Warner Bros., which included the single "I'm Stupid (Don't Worry 'Bout Me)". This song reached number 28 on both the Billboard Alternative Songs and Mainstream Rock Tracks charts. The band played at New York City's CBGB club for a two-day showcase of Swedish artists titled the Swedish Invasion Continues ... 2003 in March 2003. Their second album Beautiful Awakening was released in 2004 via MVG/Push Music in Scandinavia, Nuclear Blast in Europe, and Wood Records in Japan. The band became inactive in 2005.
