Eric Aguirre, known professionally as Vice, was born on October 13, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, where he bought his first turntables at twelve and later became an EDM DJ and music producer. In April 2016 he was featured on fellow DJ Diplo's BBC Radio 1 show Diplo & Friends, and that September released the interpolated track "Steady 1234", featuring Jasmine Thompson and Skizzy Mars, a song that earned gold certification in Finland and won the Next Wave November challenge on musical.ly. In 2017 he issued "Obsession" with Jon Bellion, later remixed by Deorro and Carlos Jean, and a version with KYLE, titled "Obsession (25/7)", followed in August 2017. The 2018 single "Make Up" featured Jason Derulo and Ava Max and attracted remixes from MOTi and HUGEL. In May 2026, Vice returned to pop collaboration after eight years with "Follow Me" alongside Aloe Blacc. He launched the Electric Taco monthly series in January 2016, which showcased his Tesla with celebrity guests such as Reggie Bush, A-Trak, and Nick Young, and signed with Creative Artists Agency.
