Atlas Losing Grip, a Swedish hardcore punk band from Lund, was formed in 2005 with Stefan Bratt on bass and vocals and Gustav Burn on electric guitar. Following lineup changes and a series of demos, the band stabilized and released its debut album, Shut The World Out, in 2008 before embarking on an 18-month European tour. In 2009, former Satanic Surfers member Rodrigo Alfaro joined the band. They continued touring extensively across Europe and released the EP Watching The Horizon in 2011. Their second album, State Of Unrest, was released the same year. In 2015, Atlas Losing Grip released their third album, Currents. However, the band announced their disbandment on April 13, 2016. Atlas Losing Grip was known for its unique sound that blended melodic punk with heavy metal.
